The Aliksir brand

Aliksir is a Quebec company founded in 1988 by Lucie B. Mainguy and her late husband, Pierre Mainguy. Passionate about aromatherapy, Lucie quickly established Aliksir as a leading provider of therapeutic-grade essential oils. Over the years, the company has grown and adapted to changing market conditions.


In March 2022, Biolandes, led by Philippe Coutière, acquired Aliksir. This integration is part of Biolandes' expansion strategy in Canada and allows the company to expand its production of essential oils and hydrosols from the boreal forest. Since then, Aliksir has continued to produce high-quality organic essential oils, while benefiting from the group's support and resources to strengthen its presence in international markets.
