History and origin: Ho Wood essential oil is obtained by distilling the bark of Ho wood, also called Shiu wood or Chinese laurel. Ho Wood essential oil is considered the twin of rosewood essential oil, recognized for its high effectiveness and very well tolerated for cutaneous use. Interestingly, both Ho wood and Ravintsara essential oils come from the same tree, Cinnamomum camphora . Their difference lies in the part of the plant that is distilled: Ho wood oil is extracted from the bark, while Ravintsara oil comes from the leaves. This distinction results in very different biochemical compositions: Ho wood is rich in linalool , with gentle and soothing properties, while ravintsara contains mainly 1,8-cineole , known for its purifying and respiratory effects. These differences, both in the distilled part and in their aromatic profile, make them essential oils with very distinct uses, both in cosmetics and aromatherapy. It is therefore important to differentiate them and choose them according to the desired effects. |

An essential oil is considered expired if it was fluid but has become viscous, if its scent has changed from its characteristic aroma, or if its color has darkened compared to the original.

Returns of defective or non-conforming merchandise:
