Oak moss is a cross between a fungus and an alga. Despite its name, it doesn’t grow only at the feet of oak, but also at the feet of some other trees (ashes, willows, pines, etc.).

This oil is mainly used in perfumery. It is a perfume fixative and a bottom note.
Synergy
Oak moss absolute blends well with citrus to create men’s fragrances. It will mix well with rose, bergamot, cinnamon or vetiver to create more feminine notes.
Precautions
This oil is very powerful and potentially allergenic. It should be used sparingly.
