History and Origin

Winter savory is a sub-shrub of the lamiaceae family native to South Europe and Africa. It’s a perennial plant with white to pink small flowers. Its leaves are dark green and very aromatic. Winter savory is known for about 2 000 years and was already used by the ancient Romans and Greeks.
