Marjoram (Origanum majorana) is a perennial plant, cultivated as a spice plant for its aromatic leaves. It’s closely related to common oregano (Origanum vulgare), but marjoram has a more delicate flavor.

Marjoram essential oil is spicy and slightly hot. It is often used in Mediterranean dishes. It flavors oils and vinegars.

Marjoram olive oil
250ml of extra-virgin olive oil
2 drops of marjoram EO
1 dried marjoram sprig to decorate
Put essential oil and dried marjoram sprig in a glass bottle.
Pour olive oil. Stir and let sit for a few days. This oil is excellent on bread and pizzas, cheese and tomatoes.

Use marjoram to perfume your sheets and clothes in the wardrobe instead of lavender sachet.

Greeks and Romans were using it as perfume.
Marjoram is used to make antiseptic and calming skin care products with herbal scent.
Moisturizing bath oil recipe (anti-stress)
125ml organic vegetable oil of your choice
125ml neutral bubble bath
5 drops of marjoram EO (Origanum majorana)
10 drops of lavender EO (Lavandula angustifolia)
5 drops of bergamot (Citrus bergamia)
5 drops of mandarin EO (Citrus reticulata)
Put all the ingredients in a 250ml or more glass jar or bottle. Stir well the mixture before adding 50ml to bath water. Bubble bath allows oil and water to mix. This relaxing oil is a skin moisturizer and is good for the spirit.
