English Name : Eglantine Rose
French Name : Rosier muscat
Family : Rosaceae
Origin : Chile, Bulgaria

History and Origin

Eglantine Rose is a shrub cultivated in South America, most particularly in Chile, where it is called Rosa mosqueta. It is now also widely cultivated in Bulgaria. Similar to eglantine rose, the seeds from the hips are crushed to extract an oil particularly effective in skin care.

Extraction: Cold-pressed
Components: Polyunsaturated fatty acids, mono-unsaturated fatty acids, saturated fats, vitamin A, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid.
Oil characteristics: Orangey yellow color oil with a rose scent.
Properties: Tissue regenerator, hypocholesterolemiant, menstrual cycle regulator, prevents lines and wrinkles, tissue regenerator after radiotherapy and cobaltotherapy.
