History and Origin
Eglantine Rose is a shrub cultivated in South America, most particularly in Chile, where it is called Rosa mosqueta. It is now also widely cultivated in Bulgaria. Similar to eglantine rose, the seeds from the hips are crushed to extract an oil particularly effective in skin care.
